Retire to Hastings?
Hastings is an excellent choice for retirement living, with good quality housing at reasonable prices, transport links to London, and a vibrant city centre for shopping. It has lately attracted new residents from the expanded Europe, so the downside is pressure on house prices, but the upside is a good cosmopolitan atmosphere.
