Learning a Language
In retirement, it is valuable to have hobbies and activities that are interesting and absorbing, and that ideally enable you to meet more people with a shared interest.
Learning a language is primarily a good hobby because it keeps your mind active. If you attend classes, it also helps you with meeting new people, and greatly improves your speaking and listening skills.
