Music as a Hobby
In retirement, it is valuable to have hobbies and activities that are interesting and absorbing, and that ideally enable you to meet more people with a shared interest.
Music provides a great hobby, as not only can you enjoy listening at home, but can get out to different music and concert venues. In some towns and cities, you will also find local groups interested in music, who organise events and trips, which all greatly enhances your enjoyment of the hobby.
Of course, you might want to participate in music making or in a choir. If so, there are also opportunities in many towns and villages, at the minimum in the local church choir!
