Collecting as a Hobby
In retirement, it is valuable to have hobbies and activities that are interesting and absorbing, and that ideally enable you to meet more people with a shared interest. Many people find great interest in 'collecting'. What they collect ranges from the conventional, like stamps and coins, to the unconventional....like old computers, beermats, .... It is easier than ever to collect anything, as the web supports pretty well every colector's passion. Of course, it also gives great purpose to visits to car boot sales, if you aren't just wandering around, but have an objective. If you like the idea of collecting, but don't know what to choose, a couple of pointers: - your items shouldn't be too expensive
- pick something more mainstream, so you
know there will be lots of fellow-collectors
