Cars as a Hobby
In retirement, it is valuable to have hobbies and activities that are interesting and absorbing, and that ideally enable you to meet more people with a shared interest.
Car repair and restoration can be very absorbing and satisfying, provided you have adequate garage space! If you choose to restore an old car, you'll find that whatever the make and model, there will be other enthusiasts also doing restoration, often with websites and clubs. This is invaluable as a source of spare parts, but also adds greatly to the enjoyment of the hobby.
