Flu Jabs in retirement

A bout of influenza (the 'flu') in the winter is never a good experience, and it weakens the body's resistance to other infections. As you get older, the impact can get more severe, so it is well worth considering having a flu jab prior to the onset of winter. Unfortunately, it does have some small side effects, so if you are generally fit and healthy, you may prefer to take a chance with the flu!
