Rent a holiday home in Florida
Florida is one of the most popular overseas destinations for Brits, with good value and no language barrier. Next time you think of a holiday at Orlando, or by the beach, try out renting a house. Mostly they have a private pool, screened from flies etc., and are probably twice the size of anything you would rent in another country!! For families, it is fantastic value, and you can have home-delivered food (including pizza) whenever you don't feel like cooking or going out.
If you are thinking of buying a house there (and with the $ the way it is, not a bad idea) why not sample the lifestyle first by renting?
