Computing as a Hobby
It is valuable to have hobbies and activities that are interesting and absorbing, and that ideally enable you to meet more people with a shared interest.
Computing provides a great hobby. You can do so much now with editing and organising photographs and other information, you can keep in touch with friends and relatives by email, and you have the information resources to support any hobby or interest. Do think also about joining in internet communities, which can extend your social contacts through shared interests.
